The following times are available for volunteering at Therapeutic Riding: (20 minute drive to Therapeutic Riding is not included in these times, rides are provided for the bolded Saturday time)

Details

If you are passionate about working with children and adults with special needs, this is the team for you! We partner with Therapeutic Riding, an organization that uses horse-back riding to help those with disabilities to gain confidence and muscle strength. Each week, you'll head over to the barn and work for two to three hours as a sidewalker, ensuring that your rider's experience is safe and fun as they walk around the arena. No horse experience is necessary -- there are other volunteers whose job is to take care of the horse; you'll just get to have fun with the rider!
